Teeming with a soulful and vibrant atmosphere punctuated with elements of funk and golden age hip hop, this latest release sees Kojey reflect on the lessons he’s learned over the years about money, love and respect. A sonic and lyrical tapestry lush with autobiographical easter eggs about Kojey’s own life, tastes (cc Notorious B.I.G.) and journey to deliver his message, he enlists West London’s rising star Bawo to add his own flair and thoughts to the rules for life, “Never let the money get the better of your back bone”. Kicking off an exciting Summer ahead, Rule One produced by Swindle (Ghetts, Celeste), Owen Cutts (Stormzy, Greentea Peng) and Ashton Sellars (Burna Boy) is the first taste of his highly anticipated new album, with details to be revealed by Kojey soon.
