Bridget Stokes’ masterful comedy direction made her the first Black Woman to win an Emmy in this category for HBO’s, A Black Lady Sketch Show in 2022. She also received an additional Emmy nomination for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series and an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series. Stokes served as director and co-executive producer alongside series creator Robin Thede.

Netflix’s The Rachel Divide which was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the Tribeca Film Festival. Further evidence that Stokes’ is the ideal collaborator for the branded content, with her innate understanding of production and storytelling.
